Here's a quick rundown of upcoming events where you can find us....
- The Academy is going through an upgrade this summer and will have a new look and feel, with some great new features when we start up again in the Fall term. Join us for a Live Webinar on Thursday, August 9 at 11:00 am for a demonstration of the new APS with added info on updates to the Virtual Community and more. | REGISTER HERE
- If you are attending tomorrow's sold out 12th Annual New York City Conference for Working Peer Specialists at NYU, stop by to visit the APS table in the resource room or attend our session on Preparing for the "Real World" of Peer Support and Supervision. We'd love to see you! CONFERENCE PROGRAM
- There's a special RAC meeting planned for next week on Thursday, July 26. See your Regional Advocacy Specialist or the FLYER for more information.
- APS is exhibiting at the Alternatives Conference (August 1-2) in Washington, DC. On August 3, Rita Cronise will be broadcasting a live webinar from the Alternative site on the National Practice Guidelines for Peer Supporters with iNAPS founder Steve Harrington | REGISTER HERE
- APS will have a hands-on exhibit to demonstrate the upgrades and new features in the Academy at the NYAPRS Conference (Sept 12-14). If you haven't registered for the NYAPRS Conference | REGISTER HERE
- APS is also exhibiting at the 2nd Annual Peer Specialist (New York Peer Specialist Certification Board) Conference (October 24-25) in Troy, New York. More details about that conference as they become available.

The next Virtual Learning Community Newsletter is due to come out early in August. Email anything you would like to have included in the newsletter to academy.virtual.community@gmail.com by August 1.
But even before then, we update the Virtual Learning Community website regularly (often daily) as new information comes in, so feel free to send announcements and job openings any time.
