New York City's 11th Annual Peer Specialists Conference

The Peer Specialists Conference Planning Committee is currently seeking workshop proposals for the 11th Annual Peer Specialists Conference, which will be held at the NYU Kimmel Center on Thursday, July 13, 2017.

 

This conference is intended specifically for New York City peers working in Behavioral Health, Family and Youth or Substance Use field who wish to enhance their skills and obtain new knowledge and information.  This conference will stimulate a creative and critical dialogue about career development, practices in the field and trends in health care.

 

The audience for this conference will be New York City  peers working in Behavioral Health services, Family and Youth or Substance Use services. We invite abstracts that reflect innovative national, state and local programs, practices, and initiatives that support the future development of the peer workforce. All workshops are 75 minutes.

Workshop proposals must be e-mailed, faxed or postmarked no later than close of business on December 16, 2016.

 

NOTE: Please complete the attached 2016 Workshop Proposal Submission form.  Please be advised that incomplete proposals will delay consideration of your submission. You will be notified about the status of your proposal by email in early 2016.
