OMH is looking for motivated, nurturing, and supportive individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. Mental Health Therapy Aides are responsible for providing direct care and support to adults, adolescents, and children who have been diagnosed with a mental illness or serious emotional disturbances.
Candidates must have a high-school diploma or GED and take the Mental Health Therapy Aide Trainee Examination 26-217, which is scheduled for May 13, 2017. Examination applications can be completed on-line at: http://on.ny.gov/2lSPwDe.
