This week we launched a new online module in the Academy called The New York Peer Specialist Certification Board: The Peer Specialist Certification Process in New York State. This short, 1 hour module is for information only, to learn about the history of the peer support certification and the current process to achieve or renew the certification. Because it is for information only, there is no test. To register for this new module, go to your dashboard and select the course title under the Elective Courses shopping cart.

Our Virtual Learning Community continues to grow with webinars, online networking sessions, and new ideas from information gathering sessions held at the New York City Conference for Working Peer Specialists, the NYAPRS Conference, and the recent New York Peer Specialist Certification Board Conference. We invite your ideas too, as we set our priorities for continuing to develop the Virtual Learning Community as a resource for support, education, and advocacy in 2019.
