Dear APS Learners and Friends,
If you haven't already signed up to attend tomorrow's Legislative Day in Albany, it's not to late. Here's the information to get involved in this vital advocacy effort. See the legislative agenda below. And even if you can't get to Albany tomorrow, give your local legislator a call to voice your thoughts on these policies that adversely affect so many of our peers in our state.

Subject: [NYAPRS Enews] Today is the Last Chance to Get on the Bus for Tomorrow's Legislative Day in Albany!

NYAPRS Note: Tomorrow is NYAPRS’ Annual Albany Legislative Day! Upwards of 600 self and system advocates are coming to Albany to raise their voices loud and proud to see that housing programs and community mental health agencies and workers get critically needed increases and that the state imposes a ban on the use of horrific solitary confinements for people with disabilities and funds more Crisis Intervention Teams across the state and alternatives to court mandated treatment, among the broad array of issues listed below. For more details, see the attached NYAPRS Legislative Day book.

There’re still some seats on some of the buses! Contact Your Regional Coordinator Today!
