Dear APS learners,

Welcome back to the Academy of Peer Services! We hope you’ve enjoyed the summer and are ready to get started again. Fall Term (Term 3) opens at noon on Monday, August 26.

Existing APS courses have all been updated based on your feedback in the last term. The course, Suicide a Peer to Peer Conversation, is being re-released. The Supervision Track now includes the Toolkit for Organizational Readiness for Supporting Peers in their Roles that was developed by the NYC Peer and Community Health Worker Workforce Consortium. A sneak peek to the National Guidelines for Supervisors that have been under development at the International Association of Peer Supporters (iNAPS) is also included along with access to the recorded webinars from the Virtual Community supervision series. The new course, Supporting Financial Wellness: From Hardship to Hope, will open soon after the start of the term.

When you first log in, you will need to use the dashboard to re-register for any course you failed or did not complete last term. If you attempted unsuccessfully to pass the posttest for any course last term, you will be able to start over with two attempts to pass the posttest for each course this term.
