Term 3 is now open

Welcome! The Academy is now open: https://www.academyofpeerservices.org

New learners:  Please review the Frequently Asked Questions about the Academy of Peer Services or the online User Guide for step-by-step instructions and video tutorials about how to take classes in the Academy.

Returning learners:  When you first log in, please use the dashboard to re-register for any course you did not complete last term. If you need to retake the posttest for any course, please re-register for the course then start again with two attempts to pass the posttest this term.

Terms of use: Whether you are new or returning, your use of the Academy has certain responsibilities and obligations. For the acceptable use policy, click here.

It is very important not to create additional accounts under separate email addresses. If you already have an account and cannot access it, send email to our user support specialist for assistance, at  academyofpeerservicesnyomh@gmail.com

What’s new: Many of the existing courses have been updated where the external resources have been moved or are no longer available online. Several of the courses now include external resources that are brand new, like the toolkit developed by the New York Peer and Community Health Worker Workforce Consortium or the National Practice Guidelines for Supervisors of Peer Specialists by the International Association of Peer Specialists that will be officially launched in October at the National Conference. In all cases, the feedback you’ve provided in the course evaluations has been reviewed and your recommendations have been considered while updating the courses and the posttests. We appreciate your comments and suggestions!

Special Notes: The course Suicide: A Peer to Peer Conversation has been re-launched. A new course for Fall 2019, Supporting Financial Wellness: Moving from Hardship to Hope, will be available in mid-September.
