New CE Course added to the Winter Session Catalog
Anti-Racism Series Part 3: Becoming an Anti-Racist Organization: Breaking Down Structural Racism was released this week.
This course discusses the results of a racial equity survey conducted with racism webinar series participants in 2020. Several health- and human services-related organizations discuss their anti-racist strategies, challenges, and lessons learned.

The Core and Elective courses are now closed for scheduled maintenance and will remain closed until the start of Term 1, 2021 on Monday, January 4. See the Winter Session catalog for courses that remain open and can be taken for credit, while the main courses are closed for scheduled maintenance.

December 19 deadline to receive Continuing Education for Workshops attended at the 4th Annual NYPSCB Conference
If you attended the 4th Annual New York Peer Specialist Certification Board Conference last month, December 19 is the deadline to complete Workshop Evaluations (required) to receive the continuing education credit for workshops you attended.
To complete the Workshop Evaluations, log in to your Academy of Peer Services account, Register for course, and then choose the NYPSCB workshops you attended. You will receive 1.0 Credit for each workshop.
Center of Healing Survey Deadline Extended to This Friday

The Office of Mental Health’s Office of Consumer Affairs, in collaboration with the Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS), invites you to participate in a survey to help us understand how best to support New Yorkers in the process of healing.
If you live or work in New York State, we are very interested in your thoughts about what contributes to a sense of healing, and what programs in New York can do to support healing in today's world.
You may have already taken this survey yourself. If you are a service provider (including peer support service providers, peer specialists, and recovery peer advocates), please bring this survey to the attention of those you support - and their families.
